Hi my name is Brittany Henderson and I am currently a full time student at Fresno State University in California, majoring in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.  I have created this website in the hope of attracting prospective employers and giving them a special look at my life and what I hope to bring to an organization.

I am an accounting major, and have two semesters left before graduation.  I am looking forward to going out into the world and taking on as many challenges as possible.  I hope to find a job in the Bay Area upon graduating, possibly with one of the Bg Four.  In my college career I have taken on a full load of course work each semester.  I have made my education a priority while also building my work ethic in the business world.

I am a very driven and dedicated person in all aspects of my life.  I have never quit a job, and have maintained the same job since my junior year in high school.  I have worked my way up from a night time receptionist to accounts payable and receivable for the Madera Auto Center in the 5 years that I have worked there.  This job a major part of my choice to pursue an accounting degree.  I feel that my experiences with this company have prepared me to contribute a great deal to the next company I join.

I am also employed at World Sports Cafe in Fresno, California.  I began working there in 2004 as a hostess and soon moved directly to a serving position.  This job has helped me to develop very important communication skills which I believe would be an asset to any company.  Through my work at the World Sports Cafe, I have learned to deal with many adverse situations and keep a calm and cool perspective about the things that may be going on around me.  The atmosphere there can become very hectic and has helped me learn to take things a step at a time.  I have learned that a person can only do as much as time will allow and my time management skills have thrived because of this.

Between my school and work schedule I have very little time for play, but I always make it a priority to spend time with my family.  They are my sanity when things get crazy around me and I would not be where I am today without them.  My parents have been married for 21 years and I have one younger brother who just entered college this year.
